OVERVIEW

The Imperial Armour Crewman Helmet has been designed for tank crews and for soldiers needing to wear large communication headsets. The design allows for the removal of the headset.

STYLE

• The helmet has a smooth conformal shape, is of low bulk and mass and has a durable finish.
• The edge is covered with a low profile neoprene rubber extrusion, which provides a forgiving and neat finish. The helmet is fitted with a fully adjustable harness system that can be released and removed.
• A comfort pad is fitted at the brow. This is covered with leather for perspiration absorption and comfort. The harness features a crown pad for comfort.
• The nape pad is fully adjustable to accommodate a variety of head lengths. This also provides added security of fit, resisting roll off during periods of high activity.
• A three-point chinstrap provides optimum retention. It incorporates sufficient adjustment to allow for gas masks and a large variety of head shapes and sizes. The adjusters are quick and easy to operate. A chincup is integral with the chinstrap and is fitted with an easy clean plastic chin cup.
